About the Author

Marja Henderson was born on January 29, 1955 in Vlaardingen, Holland, the fifth daughter of Dominicus and Suzanna van Lith. A retired registered nurse and professional singer, she now spends much of her time being an “Oma” to her dozen grandchildren. Long Shall You Live is her first major undertaking as an author. She was committed to the challenge her parents imprinted on her about the Holocaust, to “Never forget what happened, and never let it happen again!” Her hope is that it will become an important message of strength through faith, hope, and lasting love for all who read it.
